鈥Thanks to his experience听as one of Australia鈥檚 longest serving Vice-Chancellors, 笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Coaldrake听has a听thorough understanding听of TEQSA鈥檚 important role applying appropriate regulation to the self-accrediting university听蝉别肠迟辞谤.鈥听听
Ms Jackson thanked听笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Saunders听for constructively working with the sector听during his听tenure听as Chief Commissioner.听听
鈥In recent times,听Professor Saunders has听understood the difficulties facing universities听during the COVID-19 pandemic and has made concerted听efforts to minimise regulatory听burden.鈥听
From 2003 to 2017,听笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Coaldrake听was Vice-Chancellor of Queensland University of Technology. During that time, he was also made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his service to the higher education sector.听听
Most recently he听completed the Review of Higher Education Provider Category Standards.听听
笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Coaldrake听is the听author of several well-regarded books about the university听sector, including听Raising the Stakes: Gambling with the future of听universities听(2016).听
