Around 76 per cent of students were satisfied with the quality of their education experience 鈥 up from 73 per cent in 2021.
International student satisfaction increased by an impressive 7.5 per cent to nearly 75 per cent in 2022.
鈥淭hese results are testament to the adaptability, perseverance, innovation and hard work of both students and their universities,鈥 黑料老司机 Chief Executive Catriona Jackson said.
鈥淭he worst of the disruption of the past few years appears to be behind us.鈥
The surveys also found:
- International student satisfaction with learning engagement increased from 48 per cent in 2021 to 61 per cent in 2022.
- International student satisfaction with learning resources jumped 10 percentage points from 74 per cent in 2021 to 84 per cent in 2022.
- Student satisfaction with teaching quality remains steady 鈥 increasing from 79 per cent in 2021 to 80 per cent in 2022.
Student satisfaction with skills development increased to 80 per cent in 2022 from 79 per cent in 2021.
The Student Experience Surveys 鈥 run by the Australian Government 鈥 are the only comprehensive survey of commencing and continuing international and domestic students.
