Now in their fourth year, the awards recognise the extraordinary work taking place across Australia’s universities and the people behind it 鈥 delivering practical solutions to real-world challenges, strengthening communities and improving lives.
From breakthroughs in health and medical research to innovative teaching, industry partnerships and community initiatives, the awards showcase the many ways universities contribute to a stronger, smarter and more prosperous Australia.

鈥淭hese awards are about recognising those people and their work.
鈥淓ach year, the calibre of entries gets stronger and stronger, reflecting the growing contribution universities are making to Australia鈥檚 future.
鈥淲hether it鈥檚 lifting productivity, developing the skilled workforce our economy needs, advancing new discoveries or strengthening communities, universities are helping shape the nation we want to be.

Universities, staff, students and researchers are encouraged to submit nominations across three award categories:
- The Problem Solver Award for research that transforms lives.
- The Future Builder Award for exceptional educators shaping the next generation.
- The Community Champion Award for university-led initiatives improving local communities.
Each category will have two winners 鈥 one chosen by public vote, the other by a panel of distinguished Australians to be announced shortly.
