鈥淯niversity governance is a key area of focus in the Australian Universities Accord, and we will continue to engage with federal, state and territory governments on these important issues, including on the establishment of an Expert Governance Council.
鈥淭he Expert Governance Council was proposed by the University Chancellors Council under the leadership of Mr John Stanhope, and I鈥檇 like to thank the Chancellors for their work on this.
