The Australian National University鈥檚 Associate Professor Katerina Teaiwa was named the 2021 Australian University Teacher of the Year. The Career Achievement Award was won by the University of Tasmania鈥檚 Adjunct Professor John Biggs AM.

鈥淎s the nation faced lockdowns and restrictions, they were pivoting between different modes of teaching while finding innovative ways to deliver an optimal learning experience.鈥
鈥淯niversity teaching staff have gone above and beyond to support students through the pandemic. I want to thank them for inspiring students and for their dedication to teaching and learning over the course of their careers.鈥
