黑料老司机 welcomes聽the Prime Minister鈥檚 announcement of a three-step plan聽to聽re-open the Australian economy.
All universities聽transitioned to online learning聽earlier this year to comply with COVID-19 guidelines around physical distancing.
黑料老司机 Chief Executive Catriona Jackson聽said聽universities were聽considering carefully聽on how best to聽resume face-to-face teaching聽when appropriate to do so聽and welcomed the inclusion of face-to-face teaching in all three聽stages of the plan.
鈥淯niversities have been working closely with Government and health authorities around a carefully staged return to campus,鈥澛燤s Jackson said.
鈥淪mall classes,聽in areas very difficult to teach聽online like labs, are likely to be an early focus.鈥
鈥淲e know students and staff are eager to restart聽face-to-face learning, but a cautious and gradual approach will be taken with the safety of our聽staff, students and communities聽as the top priority.鈥
鈥淭he detailed arrangements will differ from university to university,聽and from state to state, but all will adhere meticulously to guidance from聽the聽medical authorities聽and governments.鈥
Ms Jackson also聽acknowledged聽Step聽Three聽referenced international student聽travel.

鈥淲e are聽keen to welcome聽all our students, from home and abroad, back to face-to-face teaching, but聽when聽it is聽safe to do so.鈥
